Texas Promise Academy

Texas Promise Academy will begin offering online courses for students in grades 6 through 12 starting in the 2026–27 school year through the TPA Virtual Pathways program. This program is fully taught by Texas-certified teachers using a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum designed to challenge students academically and prepare them for their next step. The program will launch with coursework available for students entering grades 6 through 12 in the 2026–27 school year. Students may choose from our three Virtual Pathways, each designed to provide flexible and personalized learning opportunities.

    Texas Promise Academy

    Texas Promise Academy will begin offering online courses for students in grades 6 through 12 starting in the 2026–27 school year through the TPA Virtual Pathways program.     Full-Time Virtual Program

    Entirely asynchronous instruction that allows students full flexibility in pacing, scheduling, and the order in which they complete coursework. Students will have regular opportunities for individualized and small-group support with their Texas Promise Academy teachers.

    Flex Scheduling Option

    Flex students will spend the majority of their instructional day learning online asynchronously through Texas Promise Academy. Students may take 1–3 in-person classes at their designated Klein ISD campus, including Athletics, Fine Arts, CTE, or other elective offerings.

    Supplemental Courses

    Supplemental courses are available to both Texas Promise Academy students and students attending a traditional Klein ISD high school. Students may take one or two online courses outside of the regular school day through Texas Promise Academy.
